Adams 10 November 1947 - 15 February 2010 US Navy Vietnam The Herald Democrat February 18, 2010 DENISON - Graveside services for Larry Douglas Adams, 62-year-old Denison resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Adams died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 at his home. Mr. Adams was born on Nov. 10, 1947 in Sulphur Springs, the son of C.H. and Doris Elizabeth Summers Adams. He was a 1966 graduate of Denison High School. On Feb. 10, 1968, he married Linda Scott in Denison. He was self-employed, was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife, Linda Adams of Denison; mother, Doris Adams of Denison; son, Jason Adams and his wife, Janet of Grapevine; sister, Dorise Hayes of McKinney; and grandchildren, Garrett Adams and Lauren Adams of Grapevine. He was preceded in death by his father. Johnson-Moore Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
