 Van Alstyne Leader February 11, 1926 pg.8 Clara Strong, six-year old daughter of Mrs. J.F. Strong, living north of town, died at the Sherman hospital on Wednesday of last week. The body was brought to Van Alstyne and funeral services and interment were held at the Cannon cemetery Thursday morning, Rev. Leo Johnston officiating. The death of this little girl is the cause for general regret and sorrow on the part of all of the friends of the family and the mother and the relatives, have their sincere sympathy in their bereavement.
