  J. P. Hensley 5 May 1867 - 23 September 1958  Dallas Morning News May 25, 1958 Funeral Services for J. P. Hensley, 91, father of three Dallas residents, are pending at the Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. Hensley, a retired Sherman farmer, died Tuesday in a Dallas hospital after suffering a stroke during a visit. Survivors include his wife, L. A. Hensley of Savoy, Fannin County; O. B. Hensley of Grandview, Wash.; and E. Leon Hensley of Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. J. Frank Lattimer of Garrison, Nacogdoches County; and Mrs. John Edmonson and Mrs. Ray Crouch of Dallas; five sisters, Mrs Venie McCarley of Dallas; Mrs. Bill Miller of Colbert, Okla.; Mrs. Rilla Dickenson of Bells, Grayson County; Mrs. Lonia Davis of Ralls, Crosby County; and Mrs. Sally Sells of Oakfield, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
