Allen 1854 - 1939 Dallas Morning News November 6, 1939 SOUTHWEST DEATHS ALLEN - Van Alstyne, Texas, Nov. 5 - Funeral services were held Sunday at the Cannon Church, four miles east of here for Mrs. Catherine Allen, 85, who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. D. M. Mooneyham, in Whitewright. Burial was in the Cannon Cemetery. Born in Alabama, she was a member of the Cannon Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mooneyham and Mrs. Frank Phillips, Whitewright; two sons, J. W. Allen, near Whitewright and G. C.
