Jaime P. Rodriguez, retired Master Sergeant, United States Air Force passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the age of 87.  Jaime was born on January 25, 1934 in Rio Grande City, Texas.  He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1950 serving overseas in Korea, Thailand and Guam as well as numerous statewide duty stations as an electronic technician.  He married his wife of 54 years, Frances Hale, in 1966 and honorably retired from the Air Force in 1973.  He went on to a second career as an electronic technician at Texas Instruments in Sherman, Texas, ultimately retiring after more than 20 years of employment.
Jaime was a dedicated family man, loving husband, warm and nurturing father and grandfather, but will be best remembered by family and friends for his charming wit and sense of humor.
Jaime is survived by his wife; siblings, Coy Pedraza; Chule Saenz; and Alicia Rodriguez; daughter, Stephanie Engelken and husband, Jeffery; sons, Derek Rodriguez and wife Martha; Dylan Rodriguez; Daryn Rodriguez; grandchildren, Madyson Engelken; Spencer Engelken; Ryan Rodriguez; Ethan Rodriguez; Ayden Rodriguez; Wyatt Rodriguez; Brittney Engelken; Emilee Gill and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Engelken; Cora Gill; Oliver Gill; Parker Gill; and Rosie Gill; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jaime is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Maria Rodriguez and Antonio Olivarez Rodriguez; siblings, Jesus Rodriguez and Margarita Guerra.
A graveside service was held at Calvary Cemetery rendering military honors on Wednesday afternoon, May 12, 2021.  Pallbearers will be sons, Derek, Dylan, and Daryn Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Michael Downs; and son-in-law, Jeffery Engelken.  Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Spencer Engelken, Ryan, Ethan, Ayden and Wyatt Rodriguez as well as family friend,  Harrison Cornelius.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
