Mrs. Mary Flannery, sister of Mr. M.J. Sweeney, Mesdames W.J. Keaveney, and P. Quinn of this city, died in Kaufman, Texas, Saturday morning, February 7th.
The remains arrived here on the Flyer Sunday noon and were taken to the home of W.J. Keaveney.  The funeral was held Sunday from St. Patrick's church, the service being conducted by Rev. Father Crowley, interment in Calvary cemetery.
The floral offerings were beautiful and profuse.  The pall bearers were J.E. O'Brien, M. Murphy, A. Cuff, P.J. Kennedy, Barney Finn and Con Quinn.
The deceased leaves a husband and 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters; 2 sisters and 2 brothers to mourn her loss.
Mr. and Mrs. M. Sweeney, Mrs. Nora Scully of Terrell, Texas, and Miss B. Kelley of Tona, Texas attended the funeral.  A large concourse of friends followed the remains to their last resting place and offered their condolence to the surviving relatives, in which the Gazetteer joins.  May she rest in peace.
