Funeral services for George Lively, 312 E. Munson, were held at St. Patrick's Catholic church Saturday morning with Rev. Father Henry Felderhoff officiating.  Interment was in Calvary cemetery with Bratcher-Moore funeral directors in charge.
Lively died in a local hospital Friday morning after 2 months of illness.  He had been employed as shipping clerk for Coldstream Products, and prior to that he had worked for the Southern Ice Company for 26 years, and was at one time a Katy call boy and later machinist.
He was a native of Denison and was married here in 1923 to Flossie Stinson.  He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church and the Knights of Columbus.  His wife had been employed at the Southwestern Bell Telephone company for 35 years.  The Lively home is as 312 E. Munson.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs, Laurie Marie Tipton, Denison; 3 brothers, Louis, Gary, Indiana; Charles of Muenster; and Frank of Denison; 2 daughters, Mrs. Louis Miller, Brownfield, Texas; and Mrs. Dora Farmer, LaRue, Texas; and one grandchild.
