A NOTABLE SISTER DIES
Mother Mary Patrick, who for the past 23 years has devoted her life to the cause of Catholicy, died at Dallas on the night of September 20.  The deceased was one of the sisters at the Ursuline convent.  She was formerly Miss Julia Corcoran, sister of Mike and John Corcoran, well known citizens of Denison.  She was the second youngest of 11 children, only 4 of whom are at present living.  The funeral was conducted by Rev. Father martiniere who was assisted by several other fathers.
Mr. John Corcoran and wife and 6 nephews were present.  The funeral was a very notable and impressive occasion.  The deceased sister was deraly beloved and her death cause profound sorrow.
Mother mary Patrick was a native of Ireland and at the time of death was 52 years of age.  At quite a early age she turned her back on the allurements of the world and gave her sould and life to the church and the holy sisterhood, of which she was such a shining light.
