The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, May 19, 1896 pg. 3 LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Monday, May 4, 1896 - Last Saturday Stephen Garbish, Jr. was accidentaly killed while out hunting in the southwest suburbs. A load of bird-shot entered his right jaw, penetrating the brain. Careless handling of the gun was the cause of the accident.
