Mary S. Lindsey Dead
Mary S. Lindsey, aged 69 years, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. Callahan, No. 908 West Owings Street.  Mrs. Lindsey had been in failing health for quite a long period.  Mrs. Lindsey was the strongest type of the pioneer woman.  She was a good wife and a devoted mother.  She bore her sufferings with the greatest fortitude.  In her last moments she was sustained by the faith which has been the refuge of millions who have passed before her.  All through life until death closed her eyes in eternal rest, she was a devoted member of the Catholic church, the church which holds out so much hope to those who die within her sacred folds.
Mrs. Lindsey's whole life was illuminated by good deeds.
She leaves many behind to mourn her loss.  The funeral took place from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Callahan, and the religious services were held at St.  Patrick's church.  The interment was at Calvary cemetery.  A large concourse of mourners, friends and neighbors paid their last respect.
