The Denison Press Friday, February 16, 1951 pg. 3 Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Catholic church Saturday, February 10, for Eugene O. Sullivan, 71, retired Katy engineer, who died in the Katy hospital Thursday after a week's illness. Rev. Joseph Erbrick conducted the service and interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Bratcher-Moore funeral directors in charge. Mr. Sullivan was born in Cork Co., Ireland, October 9, 1879, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Denny Sullivan. He was married in November 1915 to Miss Mary Murphy in Detroit, Michigan. He came to Denison at the age of 19 and started to work for the Katy six months later. He retired in 1948. Survivors include his widow; a brother, Con Sullivan of Los Angeles; and a sister, Mrs. Con Lynch, Ireland.
