 Patrick Riley 1864 - 1940 Ellen Riley 1863 - 1921 w/o Patrick Riley The Denison Press Monday, July 8, 1940 pg. 1 Patrick Riley, 75, who made his home in Denison for several years, died at Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Saturday at 4:45 a.m. following an illness of short duration. He moved to that city 8 years ago. Remains arrived in this city today for interment at Calvary cemetery. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday from St. Patrick's church with Rev. B.J. Deeney officiating. Short-Murray will direct, Fireman Lodge will have charge at the cemetery. Mr. Riley for several years operated a news stand at the Union Station and also farmed south of the city. Surviving are one son, P.J. Riley, 1300 W. Murray, Denison; and sisters, Mrs. John Burke, McComb, Illinois; and Mrs. Jennie Murphy, Los Angeles.
