Lynda Louise Smith entered into God's kingdom on April 30, 2022 at the age of 72, surrounded by her loved ones.
Lynda was June 1, 1949 in Pampa, Texas, daughter of Joe E. and Melba Wilson.  As a young woman she dreamed of a career in Health care and began as a Candy Striper.  That attempt in Health care was delayed by her Lupus diagnosis.   She did not let that slow her down and went on to have a family.  Family was always her main priority.   Lynda rejoined the Health care field after moving to Denison, Texas in the early 1980s.  She began by managing a one physician office, which she grew to a multi-provider practice over her 30 years of service at the Center of Family Medicine.  After retirement, she spent her time with family and was able to welcome her only great-granddaughter into this world last August.  She was quickly known as "the baby whisperer"!
Lynda married the man God himself chose for her, Donald R. Smith on July 25, 2001.  They spent 16 amazing years together before he lost his battle with cancer in 2018.
In addition to being a strong, dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Lynda also loved spending time with family and friends, watching the grandchildren play sports, caring for her 3 dogs and helping anyone in any way she could.   She was the glue that held everything together.  Throughout her entire life, she had an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.
Lynda joins her mother, father, aunt, uncle and beloved husband in Heaven.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julianna and Jeremy Hyatt; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Kevin Glovier; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Cheryl Wilson; grandchildren: Lindsay Goff, Dixie Hyatt, Hunter Hyatt and wife, Elizabeth; great-granddaughter, Maebel Hyatt; nieces and nephews: Keva and Shad Reed; Greg Glovier; Chris Glovier; Holly Wilson; Luke and Lauren Wilson; 6 honorary grandchildren; 5 cousins and several dedicated friends that are more like family.
Graveside service was held Saturday afternoon, May 7, 2022 at Calvary Cemetery with Father Randal Fogle officiating in Denison, Texas. Rosary was recited Friday evening, May 6 at Fisher Funeral Home.  Pallbearers were Chris Glovier, Greg Glovier, Jeremy Hyatt, Kevin Glovier, Luke Wilson and Shad Reed.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in her name to Grayson County Home Hospice, Sherman, Texas.
Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
