The Denison Press Wednesday, June 17, 1942 pg. 1 A native of Ireland who came to the United States in September of 1888, Patrick Lavelle, 90, died Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Frost Home for the Aged where he has made his home, following an illness of several days. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Rev. Father Arthur Stuart officiating. Interment will be at Calvary cemetery, Short-Murray directing. A recitation of a rosary service will be held at Short-Murray chapel tonight at 8 o'clock. Mr. Lavelle was a retired Rock Island railroad section foreman and had been a resident of the Frost Home since September last year. He formerly lived with J.A. Pritchett of Waxahachie for 38 years.
