The Denison Press Thursday, March 18, 1938 pg. 1 RESIDENT OF CITY FOR SIX WEEKS SUCCUMBS Joseph Ferris, 76-year-old telegrapher and resident of Denison six weeks, died Thursday in a local hospital at 7:30 p.m. He was born in Boston during 1862 Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from Short-Murray chapel with Revs. B.J. Deeney and Patrick McNamee officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery with Short-Murray directing.
