DENISON - Funeral for Mary E. Waters, 73, of Denison, who died Friday at a local hospital, will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Emil Slovacek officiating. Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today in the Bratcher Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Bratcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Crayton Hicks, Billy Redding, John Ruff, Bonnie Ciaccio, Joe Gay and Charles Ingram.
Mrs. Waters was born June 15, 1917 in Denison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. McDonald. She married James Leon Waters on Nov. 15, 1947 in Denison. He preceded her in death in 1969. She retired as a purchasing agent for W.J. Smith Wood Preserving Co. in 1983 after 26 years, and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Denison, the St. Patrick's Altar Society, the VFW Ladies' Auxiliary and a former member of Denison Business and Professional Woman's Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna McKinney of Sherman and two grandchildren.
