The Denison Press 22 November 1957 pg. 3 Funeral services for Mrs. Tony Weda, 77, were scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday morning at St. Patricks Catholic Church. The Rev. Monsgr. Thomas Zachary will conduct the services and interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Johnson-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A rosary service was to be held at the family home, 431 E. Elm, Thursday night. Mrs. Weda died at her home Wednesday morning at 2:45 after two years of illness. She had lived in Denison 43 years. She was born in Castel Vetrano, Italy, February 2, 1880, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.A. Gullo. She was married in Italy January 16, 1906 to Tony Weda. Mr. Weda is a retired brick layer. She was a member of St. Patrick's church. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1956. She is survived by her husband; one son Angelo Weda; and one daughter, Mrs. Charles Patti, Denison; a sister, Mrs. Mary Gullo, Italy; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
