Friday, February 6, 1953 pg. 4 Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic church for Mrs. Julia Garcia, 81, of 729 E. Maple Row, who died at her home Sunday after a sudden illness. Rev. Henry Felderhoff, pastor of St. Joseph's conducted the service and burial was in Calvary cemetery with Bratcher-Moore funeral directors in charge. Mrs. Garcia was born in Mexico, July 29, 1871, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Trinidad Padilla. She was educated in Mexico schools. She had lived in Denison 27 years and was a member of St. Joseph's church. Survivors include 1 grandson, Roy Martinez, Denison, with whom she made her home; and 1 granddaughter, Mrs. Isabell Ortiz, Dallas.
