Victoria Arias Navarrete, age 89, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Medical Center Southeastern Oklahoma.
Mrs. Navarrete was born October 27, 1921 in Wichita Falls, Texas the daughter of Francisco and Francisca (Avila) Arias. Victoria married the love of her life, Fidencio “Fred” Navarrete August 25, 1940. She was a beautician for years then later owned and operated a grocery store with her husband, Fred. Victoria had a strong Christian foundation, always praying for her family, giving good direction and teaching her children to treat others with kindness and generosity. She loved to quilt and was a member in Guadalupanas in Wichita Falls, Texas. Victoria was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a blessing to her family and friends.
Mrs. Navarrete is survived by her loving family, daughter, Olga Jondahl and husband, Irvin of Sherman, TX, sons, Fidencio “Fred” Navarrete III and wife, Elvira of Arlington, TX and Richard Navarrete of Saginaw, TX, five grandchildren, Lisa Aler, Robert Ray Navarrete, Eric Jondahl, Sonia Snetzer and husband, Michael and Rikki Victoria Navarrete, five great-grandchildren, Ty Brandon Navarrete, John David Aler, McKenna Snetzer, Ava Snetzer and Greyson Snetzer.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband of 70 years, Fidencio “Fred” Navarrete, sisters, Jesusa Aguila, Maria Moreno, Francisca Gonzales and Rita Diaz and brother, Antonio Arias.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Father Jeremy Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Denison. A rosary will be recited with Deacon LeBlanc at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Fisher Funeral Home with family visitation to follow.
Pallbearers will be Robert Ray Navarrete, Eric Jondahl, Ty Brandon Navarrete, Michael Snetzer, Luis Perez III and Jose Moreno. 
Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 West Main in Denison.
