J.B. Blundell

John Bolen Blundell was a single young man when he migrated to Texas as part of the Peter's Colony.   He came with his parents William B. and Elizabeth Blundell.   The Harry Campbell Family were also part of this colony.   John Blundell is listed on the Ranger Muster Roll for the Texas Militia in 1854 under Wm. Fitzhugh.   There is an document made in McKinney, Collins County, TX where John Blundell appointed his brother-in-law, John J. Campbell, a private in Co. D, TX Mounted Volunteers under Capt. Fitzhugh on 24 July 1855.   The Texas Rangers' badge is a star.   This may be what he is wearing
