Evelyn Duncan, 78, daughter of Carlos Edward Terrill and Mamie Adeline
Patterson Terrill, was born February 14, 1927, at Hunter. She died May 26,
2005, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
She married William Howard Duncan June 7, 1945. They had four children. Mrs. Duncan worked for many years at Angelica before retiring to be home with Bill and her family and flowers. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and cooking Sunday dinners for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; brothers, Glen, Millard and Dale; and one grandson. Surviving are her children, Billy Duncan, Kathy Smith, Tom Duncan and Dave Duncan of Summersville; her brothers, Estil Terrill and Dwain Terrill of Summersville; her sisters, Wilma Davis of Washington and Mabeline Cleaver of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services were May 28 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Summersville with Rev. John Atchison officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.
