 The Sherman Daily Democrat Thursday, August 5, 1920 pg. 2 Mrs. Dona Souther, wife of Rev. Souther, residing 18 miles north of Whitesboro, died in Sherman Thursday afternoon at 1:25 o'clock, following a short illness. Mrs. Souther was 42 years of age and was born in Mississippi. She had resided in Grayson County for about 27 years, having formerly lived east of Sherman with her family. Funeral services will take place Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Bethany Baptist Church, east of Sherman, with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Besides her husband, Mrs. Souther is survived by the following children: Carlton, Inez, Ben, Sallie, Mary and Nannie Souther.
