Mannie Gordon Rolen, 69, native of Tennessee, died at 8 p.m. Sunday at his residence, 802 East Pacific.  Funeral services were to be held at 3 p.m. Monday from the Bethany church, northeast of Sherman, with the Rev. Claud Johnston, pastor of the North Park Baptist church, officiating.  Burial was to be at Bethany Cemetery with the Talley Funeral home in charge. 
Mr. Rolen was born July 9, 1867, and was a member of the Baptist church. 
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maggie Rolen of
Sherman; three sons, H. V. Rolen of Denison, Sam Rolen of Idabel, Oklahoma, and Albert Rolen of Sherman; one daughter, Mrs. Anna Buchanan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and two stepdaughters, Mrs. L. A. Futch and Mrs. Frank Alexander of Sherman.
The following nephews were to serve as pallbearers: Roy Rolen, Ray Rolen, Swafford Rolen, Roscoe Rolen, Leonard Rolen and Bill Jarrett.

Mrs. Mamie Rolen, 61, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at her residence, 802 East Pacific, after an illness of only a few hours. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the North Park Baptist church, the Rev. Claud Johnston officiating, assisted by the Rev. L. O. Evans.  Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery directed by Talley and pallbearers will be the nephews. 
Mrs. Rolen was born June 24, 1882, in Arkansas the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. (John) Kellough.  She had lived in this community for 50 years and is a member of the North Park Baptist church. 
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Ola) Alexander, 413 South Maxey, Sherman;  Mrs. L. A. (Kittie) Futch of Oklahoma City; one son, Albert Rolen of Sherman; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. G. B. (Stella) Rolen of Sherman, Mrs. Bill (Bessie) Jarrett of Oklahoma City; one brother, Burr Kellough of Denison. Her husband
(Mannie Gordon Rolen) died Oct. 19, 1936.
The body will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander until time for the service.
