VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Carolyn Sue Young, 36, an employee of Texas Instruments who died Friday at a Sherman hospital after a long illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Flesher Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Tom Moore of the Howe Bethel Baptist Church and Rev. Rodney Cook of the Elmont Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Bells Cemetery.
Mrs. Young was born in Texas, daughter of Mildred Jackson and the late Leonard Jackson and married Lonnie Young on Jan. 15, 1969 in Little City, Okla. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Howe.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Billy Young, Joe Young and Tommie Young, all of Philadelphia, Pa., Kevan Young and Tony Jackson, both of Van Alstyne; daughter, Sallye Young of Van Alstyne; mother of Van Alstyne; grandmother, Mrs. Sallye Burks of Anna and brother, Tommy Jackson of Wichita Falls.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday
