L. D. was a retired school teacher. He married the former Lora Byrd Whiting on March 17, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They had retired in Wichita Falls, Texas. He is survived by his son Michael Tindall and daughter Phyllis Lambert.

Bells - Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel for Lora Tindall of Bells who passed away Monday, August 30, 2004 at Presbyterina Hospital of Dallas.  Burial will be at Bells North Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
