  Ida Hicks 28 November 1862 - 11 August 1954 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, August 19, 1954 pg.1 Funeral services were held at the Bells Methodist Church Friday for Mrs. Ida E. Hicks, 91, who had lived in Bells since 1880. Burial was in Bells North Cemetery. Mrs. Hicks died of a stroke on August 11. She was born in Orange County, Indiana, in 1862. Surviving are three sons, Ernest Hicks of Bells; Sam Hicks of Big Spring; and Otho Hicks of Denison; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
