BELLS -   Kimberly Dophied, 20, of McKinney and formerly of Bells, died Friday at North Texas Medical Center in McKinney. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mullican-Little funeral Home Chapel in Bells.
The Rev Houston Garner, pastor of Hebron Baptist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Bells North Cemetery.
Miss Dophied was born in Denison, the daughter of Calvin and Vicky Dophied, and was a 1989 graduate of Bells High School.
She was employed by C.S.W. Supply in Plano, and was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church.
Surviving are her father, of Bells; stepfather, James Burchfield of Savoy; mother, Vicky Burchfield of Savoy; stepmother Pat Dophied of Bells; brothers, Mark Dophied and Craig Dophied, both of Bells; stepbrothers, Aaron Wilson and Ryan Wilson, both of Wills Point; stepsisters, Wanda Tingle of Dallas and Debbie Watson of Denver, Colo.; and grandparents, Ida Dophied of Sherman and O.B. Blanton of Savoy.
Pallbearers will be Steve Fortner, Philip Fortner, David Fortner, Ronnie Fortner, Jim Robbins, E.B. Harlin, Mickey Lester and Mickey Lee Lester.  The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

BELLS -  Funeral for Kimberly  Dophied, 20 of Bells, who died Friday in the North Texas Medical Center in McKinney will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Mullican-Little funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Bells North Cemetery.  The Rev Houston Garner will officiate.
Miss Dophied was born May 25, 1971, in Denison, daughter of Calvin and Vicky  Dophied.  She was employed by CSW Supply in Plano and was a 1989 graduate of Bells High School.
Miss Dophied was planning to marry Michael Fortner of McKinney next week.
Surviving are her father and stepmother, Calvin and Pat Dophied of Bells; mother and step-father, Vicky and James Burchfield of Savoy; two brothers, Mark Dophied, Craig Dophied; both of Bells; two stepbrothers, Aaron Wilson, Brian Wilson, both of Wills Point; two stepsisters, Wanda Tingle of Dallas, Debbie Watson of Denver, Colo.; and grandparents, Odie Blanton of Savoy and Ida Dophied of Sherman.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 tonight.

POLICE BLOTTER - McKinney woman killed in car wreck
McKinney police are investigating a two-car fatality accident that occurred Friday afternoon.
According to police reports, Kimberly Dophied, 20, of McKinney, was killed when she pulled out in front of another car in the 1500 block of Eldorado Parkway at 4:59 p.m. Friday.
She was driving her 1980 Honda two-door when she pulled out of the parking lot of the Gables Apartments in front of Nicholas Vita, 28, of McKinney, who was driving a 1990 Ford Explorer, police reports show.
Dophied was transported by McKinney Fire Department ambulance to North Texas Medical Center, where she was treated for massive injuries.  She was pronounced dead at 7:39 p.m.
Vita was not transported to the hospital.

(Researcher's Notes : Kim died from injuries sustained in automobile accident in McKinney.  She had just picked up her bridal gown.  Kim's partner and fiance, Michael Fortner, paid for her funeral and tombstone.  She was buried in her in her wedding gown.  Her tombstone was engraved under the name of "Kimberly Dophied Fortner".)
