  Thomas Clyde Elliott passed away at his residence at the age of 80, July 18, 2016. He was born on November 18, 1935. Thomas is survived by his wife, Carolyn; daughters, Sharon Simpson and husband, Willie, of Ambrose; Melanie Jennings of Mesquite; Lea Ann Duree and husband, Ronnie, of Durant, Oklahoma; and Heather Bullins and husband, Michael, of Bells, Texas; son, Scott Elliott of Denison; brothers, Leo Elliott and wife, Wanda, of Lake Tawakoni; and Jimmy Elliott of Lake Tawakoni; sister, Wanell Harvey of Mesquite, Texas; grandchildren, Otis Simpson; Kristina Bradshaw; Shane Holland; Michael, Tommy and James Duree; Melissa Bledsoe; Chante Evans; Tamara Shields; Candice Barker; Destinee Johnson; Bailey Elliott; Tyler and Cannon Bullins; and Dillion Trail; also 26 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Thomas' Life was held Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the old fellowship hall at the Hebron Baptist Church.
