Mary Isabella Frazier Lindsey
4 October 1841 - 30 November 1879  (death date listed in Rev. R. Lindsey's obituary)
d/o James M. Frazier & Angeline Lane Frazier

Her name is on the plat map of the cemetery.  Mary Isabella Frazier married April 26, 1860 in Cedar Co., Missouri; the July 30, 1860 Linn, Cedar Co., Missouri census shows R. Lindsey to be 20 years of age and Isabella to be 19 years of age.  The couple and 4 children - 2 son and 4 daughters - between the years of 1861 and 1873 with the 2 oldest being born in Missouri and the younger 4 being born in Texas, indicating that the family had moved to Texas by 1866.  By 1880 the widowed husband and his children were living in Denton Co., Texas.  Sometime between 1880 and 1900 the family had moved to Young Co., Texas

Rev. Romolus Lindsey stated in his journal that she was buried in Batsell Cemetery.  Rev. R. Lindsey was a minister and educator in Young Co., Texas; his papers are located in the Graham, Texas library.  He never married after Isabella's death but raised his children.  Rev. Lindsey (1840-1923) is buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Graham, Young Co., Texas.
