Bells - Loyd William Clark, 55, died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 1971, at Baylor hospital, Dallas, while undergoing open heart surgery.
Funeral services will be held at the Mullican-Little Funeral Home chapel at 3 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Keith Gant, pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Pink Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Clark was born January 15, 1916, at Anna, son of W.H. Clark and the late Mrs. Clark.  He married Miss Katherine Ford December 15, 1945, at Sherman.
A veteran of Army service in World War II, he had been employed by the Sherman Concrete Co. 13 years and had resided in Bells since 1946.  He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife of the home; his father, W.H. Clark of Whitewright; two sons, Billy Mack and Glynn Clark, both of Bells; three brothers, Earl and Henry Clark, both of Dallas; and Deon Clark of Ft. Worth; and three sisters, Mrs. Edna Keele of Howe, Mrs. Esta Lee Bray of McKinney and Mrs. Open Hudgens of Ft. Worth.
