ENID – Graveside services were held on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Allison Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas. Service arrangements were under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. 
Vivian Marie Jobe was born on July 1, 1922 in Western, Texas to Elbert Marion Myers and Ova D Edmonds. She died on Sunday morning, February 23, 2014 at the Commons Nursing Home in Enid, Oklahoma.
She married Albert Woodrow Jobe on May 12, 1940. They first lived with Albert’s parents, then moved to a farm in Grayson County and eventually bought property along HWY 377 outside Gordonville, Texas. She was an active member of the Gordonville Church of Christ, having been baptized by Bro. Logan Buchanan. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing, and crocheting. She would also help her husband with the livestock, gardening, and canning. Each summer, they sold produce from their garden and was known for having the best watermelons and cantaloupes in Grayson County. After the death of her husband, she moved to Enid, Oklahoma and became a member of the North Garland Church of Christ. She made many friends and always greeted everyone with a smile.
She is survived by a daughter, Martha Faye and husband, Harley Flowers of Russellville, Arkansas; a son, Woodrow Jobe and wife DeLauna of Ringwood, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Ronnie Flowers and wife Carla of Little Rock, Arkansas; Lanny Jobe and wife Lexy of Blackwell, Oklahoma; Mickey Jobe and wife Dana of Keller, Texas; 7 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and one half-sister, Mary Helen Dutton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Faye Nabors; one brother, Jesse Marion Myers; one half-brother, Daris Gene Stevens; and one great granddaughter, Breanna Leigh Flowers.
