Sadler - Funeral services for Henry Claud "H.C." Anderson, 68, were held Saturday morning, September 24, 2011 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Gene Deckard officiating.  Masonic graveside rites immediately followed the service at Allison Cemetery.  Pallbearers were C.J. Carney, Ed Womack, Tom Wall, Ed Martin, James Rich, and Larry Jones.  H.C. passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at his home in Sadler.
H.C., also known as "Honey," "Poppy," and "Uncle Honey," was born on November 7, 1942 in Dexter, Texas, son of Leon and Velma Viola (Greene ) Anderson.  He graduated from Sadler High School in 1961.  He married Drew Murrell on March 17, 1961 in Sherman.  He was a Mechanical Technician Engineer for Texas Instruments. - MEMC, retiring in 1998 after 33 years of service.  He dearly loved his family and hunting and shooting.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Drew Anderson, of Sadler; a son, Gregory C. Anderson and wife, Elizabeth Ann, of Sadler; a granddaughter, Juanita Bryan Anderson; a grandson, Aaron Jacob Anderson; and a sister-in-law, Della Skerkis and husband, John.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Albert and Donald Ray Anderson; and a sister, Norman Viola Anderson.

Sadler - Funeral services for Eley "Drew" Anderson Fults were held Wednesday afternoon, January 13, 2021 at Allison Cemetery.  Mike Bentley officiated.  Mrs. Fults, 78, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at Carrus Specialty Hospital in Sherman.
Drew was born August 30, 1944 in Sherman, daughter of James and Lillie Jobe Murrell.  She worked for Texas Instruments for 38 years and was a member of the Union Street Church of Christ.  Mrs. Fults was also an avid quilter. Drew will be remembered for her outgoing personality and for never having met a stranger.  
She is survived by her husband, David Fults, of Sadler; one son, Gregory Claude Anderson and wife, Ann, of Sadler; two grandchildren, Juanita Bryan Camp and husband, Nick, of Irving; and Aaron Jacob Anderson of Sadler; one brother, James "Jim" Murrell of Monks Corner, South Carolina; two sisters, Della Skerkis of Sherman and Emma Conner of Sherman; three step-children, Keith Fults of Broomfield, Colorado; Kent Fults and wife, Shawn, of Pacific, Missouri; and Kurt Fults and wife, Dawn, of Yukon, Oklahoma; 6 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, HC Anderson; 5 siblings, Earl Vigus; Martha Darrah; Dorothy Lovelady; Jewel "Ace" Murrell; and Newell 'Deuce" Murrell; and one niece, Kimberly Davis.
