Rebecca "Becky" Jennings, 57, passed away at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, Texas on January 31, 2013. Services were held on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Wynne Chapel located at Austin  College, Sherman, Texas at 2 p.m., Rev. Wendell of the Woodlands, Texas, former Interim Pastor at Fairview Baptist Church officiated, assisted by Rev. John Williams, Chaplain of Austin College.  Interment followed at Akers Cemetery in Sherman.  Pallbearers were nephews: Bobby Hardin, Michael Myers, Beau Bohuslavicky, Trevor Hardin, Justin Payne and Taylor Hardin, Daniel Squier, Taylor Cothran, Nick Cushing, Burke Sanders, Tyrin Kuper and Andrew Terry.
Becky Jennings was born on August 5, 1955 to Bobby Ray Hardin and Doris Jean McGee Hardin in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from Hereford High School of Hereford, Txas in the Class of 1973. She was in accounting for Thomason Oil and Texoma Ford.
Becky and John Jennings were high school sweethearts and were married in Hereford, Texas on August 25, 1973.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving is her husband, John Jennings; son, Thad Jennings and wife Devon of Van Alstyne; brothers, Alan R. Hardin and wife Sheila of Prosper; Tony Hardin of El Reno, Oklahoma; sister, Lynette Bohuslavicky and husband Bo of Shawnee, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Alyssa Jennings, Ryland Jennings, Avery Jennings all of Van Alstyne.
There are many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of many friends that will miss her dearly.
