Bertram E Smith, 82, entered into eternal life Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at S outhern Pointe Living Center in Colbert, Oklahoma.
Mr. Smith wa s born November 24, 1940 in Boswell, Oklahoma, son of Bertram and victoria Ulah Smith. He spent his life as a truck driver for the US Mail. You could always find hi m behind t he wheel of a big rig. Bertram also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camp ing a nd riding motorcycles.
He married Anita Smith December 7, 195; they had 4 children together.
Mr. Smith Leaves behind his d aughter, Cathy and husband, Jacky Skinner of Greenville, Texas; son Arvis Smith and wife, Misty, of D enison, Texas; son, Mark Smith of Denison, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Irene Russellof Midland, Texas; and brother Jimmy AWane Branch of Missouri.
Bertram was preceded in death by his daughter, Trudy Bienhoff; brothers, Ray, Leeman, Roy a nd Doug Smith.
Graveside ser vice will be held Saturday morning, July 22, 2023 at Akers Cemetery in Sherman, TExas.
