David Wayne Sisemore was born on  October 15, 1952 in Sherman, Texas, son of Kenneth Dean and Ruby Pearl Sisemore.  David graduated from Denison High School in 1971.
David began working at Hales Trailer as a welder for a short time.  He began working at Katy Railroad rebuilding cars and later worked for Union Pacific Railroad where he was a carman.  He spent 22 years at Union Pacific Railroad before retiring in 2012.
David was such a kind and compassionate person. He never met a stranger and could talk for hours at a time. He was such a hard worker, but really enjoyed spending time with his family.   His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.  David loved anything outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and riding go-carts.  He grew up attending church and was saved as a young child. David was a member of the Kemp Baptist Church.  Mr. Sisemore instilled in his children the importance of serving God and was even a song leader at one time.
David is survived  by his wife of 27 years, Kathey Sisemore; mother, Ruby Sisemore of Sherman; one brother, Dennis Sisemore and wife, Candy, of Sherman; 2 sisters, Donna Huffman of Colbert and Carolyn Sloan of Sherman; 2 sons, Jeremy Sisemore and wife, Kristy, of Hendrix and Jeffery Sisemore and Tosha, of Hendrix; one daughter, Christy Hartman and husband, Billy, of Colbert; 4 grandsons, Stran Sisemore; Zack Sisemore; Kash Sisemore; and Bryson Dickerson; and one granddaughter, Macey Weger.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dean Sisemore; and brother, Kenneth Sisemore.
Graveside services for Mr. Sisemore were held Wednesday morning, February 16, 2022 at Akers Cemetery in Sherman with Pastor Roger Speers officiating.  Pallbearers were grandsons, Stran Sisemore, Zack Sisemore, Kash Sisemore, and Billy Hartman.  Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Sisemore and Roger West.
