Judy Mae Whitten, 71, of Denison, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from natural causes.
The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon, June 2, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home.  Pastor Taylor of Southside Baptist Church officiated.  Burial followed the funeral at Akers Cemetery in Sherman, Texas.
Judy was born in Achille, Oklahoma on July 8, 1949.  She graduated from Denison  High School and continued to receive an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps in 1970.
Judy was married to Johnny Whitten on March 8, 2002; they were married 19 years.
As a proud retired Marine, Judy spent her later years caring for her family.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and would take her grandkids with her every chance she could.  She loved reading and would root for the Dallas Cowboys at every game.
Judy is survived by her husband; daughter, Tasha and husband, Jeremy; daughter, Judith and husband, Kevin; son, Jonathan and wife, Sueann; loving grandchildren, Alexis Ann and Robert; Ariel, Hunter, Dalton, Chanler, Colton, Dalton, Keaton, and Madison; her great-grandchildren, Lilian, Lucas, Mason and Isabella; and many other family and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her mother, Lee and father, Leo; her daughter, Betty Ann; niece, Trudy. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
