FUNERAL AT HOWE FOR
MRS. MARTHA A. SWINDLE

The Van Deren funeral home was in charge of arrangements for the funeral held Wednesday at Howe for Mrs. Martha A. Swindle, 82 years old, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Forrest Gray, Howe, on Tuesday.

The Rev. W. J. Reed and the Rev. Ben Bell of Frisco, former pastor of the First Methodist church at Howe conducted the service. Burial was in the Akers cemetery.

A native of Louisiana, Mrs. Swindle had resided in Texas since 1885. She was married to the late J. B. Swindle, whose death occurred during the recent past.

Surviving are children as follows: Mrs. Ella Brown, Crowell; Mrs. Vera King, Henryetta, Okla.; Mrs. Mary Biggerstaff, Sherman;
Mrs. Mary Etter, Collinsville; Mrs. Forrest Gray, Howe; daughters.

J. C.Swindle, Sherman; L. L.Swindle, Van Alstyne; Jack Swindle, Dallas; J. A.Swindle, Southmayd; R. R.Swindle, Gainesville.
A number of grandchildren also survive.

The sympathy of their friends in the several communities in which they reside is vouchsafed the family in their bereavement.
