December 27, 1948 H. J. Stone of Howe is Buried in Sherman Special to The News Sherman, Texas, Dec. 26 - Funeral services were conducted here for H. J. Stone, 70, who died Friday in his home at Howe. A native of Grayson County, Stone was born Oct. 29, 1878; he was married to Miss Rudy Cordell in 1900 and had resided in Howe for sixteen years. He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Earl Taylor of Sherman; Mrs. John Graham of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Gus Curry of McKinney; and Miss Anthie Stone of Howe; and a son, Lloyd Stone of Howe.
