Walter Starks [sic] Dies in Sherman
Walter Starks [sic], a former resident of this community, died at his home in Sherman yesterday afternoon.  Mr. Starks had been in ill health for several years, and was in Uvalde in an effort to regain his health for awhile.  He returned from Uvalde about a year ago and had been making his home in Sherman since that time.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed up to press time last night.

G.W. STARK BURIED FRIDAY
Funeral services for G.W. Stark, 51, who died at his residence in Sherman last Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock were held Friday at 3 p.m. from the home of R.A. Stegall northeast of Howe, Rev. Paul Southern, of the Denison Church of Christ, officiated.
Mr. Stark is survived by his wife; his father, J.D. Stark; one brother, Louis Stark; and fourth [sic] sisters, Mrs. S.R. Odom, Mrs. R.C. Wood, and Mrs. P.L. Taylor, all of Howe.
