Wyline Pool, 85, of Howe, died Sunday, July 28, 1996 at IHS of Texoma in Sherman.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 30 in the Howe United Methodist Church.  The eulogy was written by Beverly Martin, a former student.  Rev. Scott Jones, Rev. Johnny Johnson, and Rev. Tom Flick officiated.  Pallbearers were Ned Culp, Bob Cooper, Bob Armstrong, Jim Sutton, Robby Cannaday, Harold Taylor; and J.W. Hall.  Honorary pallbearers were Charles R. Thompson, L.S. Nichols and L.H. Krumm, Sr.  Burial was in Akers Cemetery.  Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pool was born on June 20, 1911, in Cooper, Texas, to Wylie B. Wheeler and Hattie Elizabeth Scoggins Wheeler.  She married Coy L. Pool on August 10, 1942, in Howe.
Mrs. Pool was a longtime resident of Howe and was a teacher and principal at Howe Elementary School.  She retired several years ago.  She was a membr of the Texas State Teachers Association, the National Education Association, Delta Kappa Gamma sorority; and Howe First United Methodist Church where she was active as a youth leader.
Surviving are her husband, Coy L. Pool, of Howe; daughter, Linda and her husband, Gary, of Plano; and grandchildren, Ellen Yonce and Daniel Yonce of Plano.

Coy L. Pool, 89, of Howe was buried March 12 in Akers Cemetery.
Pool died March 9 in Collinwood Nursing Center in Plano.
He was born to James and Myrtie Brandon Pool on February 12, 1912, in Nashville, Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in Panama. He was service manager for Krumm Motor Company in Sherman after he was discharged. He later worked for Olson Bodies and remained there until his retirement. He also made the metal and stained glass hanging light fixtures for his church, Howe First United Methodist Church. He was also a lay minister and was an active member of the North Texas Methodist Conference.
He was survived by his daughter, Linda Yonce of Plano; grandchildren, Ellen Yonce of Dallas and Daniel Yonce of Plano; and brothers Hoyd Pool of Pickton and Troy Pool of Phoenix, Arizona.
His wife of 53 years, Wyline, preceded him in death on July 28, 1996. His sisters, Audie Turner and Othel Newton, also preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to the First Methodist Church of Howe, 810 N. Denney, Howe 75459 or to the American Cancer Society.
