Rankin, 87, who died Thursday at his home east of Howe, were held Friday at the home. Rankin came from South Carolina to Grayson County and had lived at the home where he died forty-four years. Surviving are 6 daughters, Mrs. W.J. Roberts and Mrs. G.W. Stark of Sherman; Mrs. E.E. Robertson of Tioga; Mrs. V.H. Haizlip, Mr. S.J. Cooper and Mrs. J.M. Orr, all of Howe; one sister, Mrs. A.H.
