Thursday, January 16, 1975 pg. 2 Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Flesher Funeral Chapel in Van Alstyne for Raymond Resor Williams, 64, of Howe, who died Sunday. Bro. R.E. Corzine, pastor the Central Baptist Church in Sherman, officiated. Burial was in Akers Cemetery. Mr. Williams, a welder, was born December 21, 1910, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arch Williams. He was married July 10, 1936 to Alta Irvin in Charleston, Arkansas. She survives him. Other survivors include 3 sons, Charles Williams and James Williams, both of Howe; and Kenneth Williams of Merrillviille, Indiana; one sister, Mrs. Jewell Vaught, Sherman; 2 brothers, Roy Williams of Howe and T.J. Williams of Sherman; and 6 grandchildren. Herald Democrat October 15, 2007 A5 HOWE - Graveside services for Alta Elzada Williams, 92, of Howe, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 in Akers Cemetery in Sherman. Charles Morris will officiate and arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home. She died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007 at Lincolnshire Healthcare Center in Merrillville, Indiana.
