HAD NOT MET IN 19 YEARS
Brothers Meet After a Separation of Nineteen Years - An Accidental Meeting

J.W. Jordan came down yesterday from Tioga to see his brother , A.J. (Andy) Jordan, and thereby hangs a tale. Nineteen years ago the two brothers came to Texas from Missouri, first landing at Paris. Andy came to Bonham and went to work for the T & P as a car repairer. J.W. Jordan went further west, and the two became separated and had not seen or heard of each other until yesterday.
J.W. Jordan settled near Tioga and supposed that his brother had gone back to Missouri.
A.T. & P. conductor happened to see J.W. Jordan at Tioga the day before, and as the two brothers resemble each other somewhat approached J.W. Jordan, slapped him on the back and called him Andy. Mr. Jordan told the conductor that he was not Andy Jordan, but a brother, and inquired as to Andy's whereabouts. When told that he was at Bonham he was a very much astonished man. Mr. Jordan lost no time in coming to Bonham, and it is needless to say that the meeting of the brothers was an enjoyable one to both parties.
