J.O. Guyton, aged about 30, a telegraph lineman, was struck and killed by Katy Flyer No. 206, shortly after 12 o'clock Monday near Sherman Junction, in West Denison. There is a cross-over switch at the point where the accident occurred and it is believed the young man became confused and stepped onto the wrong track. He was hit by the pilot of the engine and thrown against a switch, the target of which cut a gash in the head.
His sister, Miss Kate Guyton, lives at Brandon, Tex., and a telegram was sent informing her of the death of her brother.
