  Trenton Tribune May 4, 1978 Whitewright Fire - It was back in 1911 when a raging fire swept the business district of Whitewright. The aftermath of this disaster is pictured above and was furnished the Tribune by Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hight. The photo is believed to be looking east on Grand Avenue. A sign on one of the destroyed buildings reads Planters National Bank. Note the fallen telephone pole in the street.  The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, June 18, 1911
