MARTHA CIRCLE HOLDS BOOK REVIEW AT SILVER TEA WEDNESDAY
The Martha Emerson circle of the Methodist church sponsored Mrs. Robert Fielder in a book review at the home of Mrs. O.S. Yoder in a Silver Tea Wednesday afternoon.
In the receiving line at the door were Mrs. Andy Shawver, Mrs. T.G. Craft, Mrs. O.S. Yoder, Miss Nannie Cave and Mrs. Robert Fielder.
Those in the dining room were Mrs. Fred Lowe, Mrs. Howard Yoder, Mrs. Carter Yoder, Mrs. Jessie Grubbs, Mrs. E.M. Wilson and Miss Jewel Roach.  Mrs. Fred Lowe poured tea and Mrs. Howard Yoder served sandwiches.
Mrs. Shawver gave 2 solos with Miss Nannie Cave accompanist at the piano.  Miss Mildred Hayes gave a piano solo.
Mrs. Carter Yoder was presented in a reading.  Mrs. Rea Nunnallee presided at the registrar.
Mrs. Fielder reviewed the book "Grandma Called It Carnal".  Several out-of-town people were present representing Howe, Anna, Sherman, Farmersville and other communities
