VAN ALSTYNE WILL HAVE MODERN PICTURE SHOW
Van Alstyne is soon to have one of the most modern and up-to-date Picture Play Houses in North Texas, one that will be a credit to the city and one which will re...tge enterprise and capacity of one of the most thorough picture show men in Texas.
..M. Reynolds this week, closed a ...the Kepler building on Main street now occupied by the R.I. Williams Nickel Store, and work will commence at an early date in placing the ...in shape for a most modern ...house.  The front will be taken off, made to conform to the requirements of an up-to-date show, the floor will be made incline, and other improvements made which will place the...rin Theatre easily in the forefront of any picture show in North Texas.
The building is much larger than the building now occupied by the Lyric, and this is one of the great needs of Mr. Reynolds, for the business has grown to where he has often been unable to accommodate his patrons.
Mr. Reynolds has made a great success with his picture show in Van Alstyne.  Starting with no patronage at all, he has built a big business.  This has been accomplished by giving the people the very same pictures that people in Dallas, Sherman, Denison, Houston, and all the larger towns see, and very often at a much less price.  He understands his business, he studies the business, ever looking to the interest of his patrons and trying to give them what they want to see in the picture show line, he pushes his business with printers ink, and as a result he is now owner of one of the best patronized little shows in Texas.
Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds look after the show themselves very closely.  Mrs. Reynolds being active in the work, and when Mr. Reynolds chances to be away he never worries about the business, for Mrs. Reynolds looks after it, carefully in her ever pleasant manner, and she has proven her worth to the business in more ways than one.
We are glad that we are to have a modern play house, and we congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds on their success.
