Construction of a new fire hose cart will start soon, according to W.T. Judkins.

A group of Howe peope enjoyed a fish fry Saturday night at the Davis tank.  The following were present:
Mr. and Mrs. Ohmar Corbin and son; Mr. and Mrs. Truett Holloway and son; Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Phillips and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Davis and children; Mr. and Mrs. Hallie Haizlip; Mr. and Mrs. F.C. Scroggins; Mrs. J.O. Turley; Don and Frank Phillips, Jr. of Durant; Etta Sue Tolbert; Bob and George Davis; Pete Gee and Kathleen Coleman.

Following is a list of Howe residents making a change in their places of abode:
Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Collins have gone to Sherman for the summer months.  Dr. and Mrs. W.O. Curlee and family have moved into the Culver house, formerly occupied by the Collins.
Mr. and Mrs. S.J. McReynolds moved to the Herbert Howdeshell house in northwest Howe.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Callaway are returning to their home from Denton.
Mrs. Will Roberts and children of Sherman have moved into their home on North Denney.
Mr. and Mrs. H.K. Mynatt moved to Lake Dallas where he is superintendent of schools.
Miss Dovie Brinkley has moved into the house with Mrs. Mary Rutherford.
