Red devils attack Kuwait Oil Fires. Staff Sgt. Chris Wallace Sr. (formerly of Howe) is serving with 58th Combat Engineer "Blackhorse Co." in the Gulf Area of Kuwait to put out oil well fires near and in Al Ahmadi region.  Over 600 oil well fires.  Company and Wallace commended for their success in capping and destroying the fires.

Coy & Wyline Pool named by Chamber of Commerce - Outstanding Citizens.

October 1993
Chamber of Commerce sponsors Halloween Fair in downtown Howe. Hugh success.

Howe Memorial Park established. Playground area in honor of Leisha McCarthy.

Mamie Rich Gee retires and closes beauty shop after 54 years of service. First shop opened in Howe 1939.

Flake Rankin Henley celebrates 97th birthday on September 27, 1993,

Pee Wee Bulldogs win Super Bowl, North Texas Championship. Score 20-16, defeating Blue Ridge.

James J. Chisum celebrates 83rd birthday in November 1993.

Gladys McKinney Davis celebrates 93rd birthday on February 11, 1994.

Open House and Ribbon cutting for Howe Community Center and S.N.A.P. Center, 700 W. Haning Ave.  Mayor Ray Bledsoe, City Manager Ray Houston, Council members: Marion Allison, Duane Peters, Roger Luttrell, Carrie Waller.
