A.P. WOOD DENISON RESIDENT 55 YEARS

A. P. Wood of the Grayson County Abstract and Real Estate Company has been a resident of Denison for fifty-five years, and is still the active manager of that company which was established in 1893. R. P. Wood, his son, is associated with him in the business and also runs the Woodlawn Court apartments.

When A. P. Wood first came to Denison in 1883 he joined his brother, F. M. Wood, in the stock business and remained in that businessfor two or three years before beginning the study of law in the office of A. B. Person.

From 1900 to 1910 Mr. Wood was the city tax collector and assessor. His abstract office in the Kraft building is now the absentee voting headquarters in Denison. Miss Ruth Wilson has been employed in the office for a number of years.
